T.J. Oshie recorded the first postseason hat trick of his NHL career Thursday night, and no one was happier to witness it than his young daughter, Lyla.

Oshie’s wife, Lauren, manned Monumental Sports Network’s Instagram account before and during Game 1 of the Washington Capitals’ second-round playoff series against the Pittsburgh Penguins, and she captured Lyla’s adorable reaction to the first of Oshie’s three goals in the game.

Lyla was fired up even before the game, booting aside a Penguins poster and also professing her Caps fandom during Oshie family dinner.

Oshie scored Washington’s final three goals Thursday night, including one at the 9:33 mark of overtime to give the Capitals a 4-3 win and a 1-0 series lead. Game 2 is set for Saturday night in the nation’s capital.
