Barcelona can’t afford not to win its remaining La Liga (Spanish first division) games this season.
With three games remaining, Barcelona is tied on points with Atletico Madrid for first place in La Liga, with Real Madrid trailing by one. Barcelona held a commanding lead in the title race at the beginning of April, but losses to Real Sociedad and Valencia on April 9 and April 17, respectively, threaten to cost the reigning champion its crown.
However, 13th-placed Real Betis is at risk of defeat, as Barcelona has won its last two La Liga games by a combined score of 14-0.
