The New York Islanders knocked off the Florida Panthers in a thriller Thursday night, scoring twice in the third period to secure a 5-4 win in Game 1 of their first-round NHL playoff series.
And thanks to a rare postseason back-to-back, the teams will be back at it again Friday night, with the Panthers looking to avoid having to travel to Brooklyn down two games to zero.
