The San Jose Sharks last week snapped a streak of three consecutive playoff series losses to the Los Angeles Kings, eliminating their Pacific Division rivals in the first round of the 2016 Stanley Cup playoffs.
Next up for the Sharks is a date with the upstart Nashville Predators, who toppled the Anaheim Ducks on Wednesday night to win their opening-round series in seven games. It was just the third playoff series win in franchise history for the Predators, who are seeking their first-ever trip to the Western Conference finals.
