Paris St. Germain welcomes Manchester City to the French capital for the first of two clashes between European soccer’s nouveau riche.

The teams will play each other Wednesday at the Parc des Princes in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League quarterfinal series. Both won their league games last weekend and will look to build momentum in the pressure cooker that is the Champions League.

Qatar-backed PSG is in the quarterfinal stage for the fourth consecutive year. Manager Laurent Blanc will rely on the incomparable Zlatan Ibrahimovic to fire his side toward its first semifinal appearance since 1995.

Sheikh Mansour — of Abu Dhabi’s ruling family — has poured untold riches into Manchester City since he took over in 2008. But Manchester City hasn’t been able to beat down the doors of Europe’s elite thus far.

Manager Manuel Pellegrini will be without captain Vincent Kompany and winger Raheem Sterling because of calf and groin injuries, respectively. Goalkeeper Joe Hart and midfielder Yaya Toure are doubtful, leaving Pellegrini short-handed for what could be his team’s toughest game of the season.

Here’s how to watch PSG vs. Manchester City online.
