When it comes to even-number playoff years recently in the NHL, no team has dominated more than the Los Angeles Kings. And they hope that trend continues this spring.
The Kings’ quest for a third Stanley Cup championship in six years begins Thursday night in Game 1 of their first-round playoff series against the San Jose Sharks. The rival Sharks won’t be an easy out, though, as they only finished four points behind them during the regular season.
