The Washington Capitals won Game 1 of their second-round Stanley Cup playoff series against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Thursday night when forward T.J. Oshie completed a hat trick with an overtime goal.

The play was reviewed, but the last angle from NBC Sports Network showed the puck did in fact cross the goal line. The original call was a good goal.

It was Oshie’s second goal of the playoffs. He has six points (two goals, four assists) through seven games.

Game 2 is Saturday night at Verizon Center in Washington.
