Roger Goodell’s status as NFL commissioner isn’t sitting well with actor Michael Chiklis.

Chiklis, who played Tony Scali in the 1990s TV series “The Commish,” is a huge New England Patriots fan, so he clearly doesn’t like the way Goodell and the NFL have treated Tom Brady amid the ongoing Deflategate drama. He also isn’t down with Goodell’s Twitter handle (@nflcommish).

“The term ‘Commish’ is a term of endearment bestowed upon a commissioner by his subordinates out of feelings of affection,” Chiklis recently told TMZ Sports. “It’s not one that you endow yourself with as a moniker or a Twitter handle.”

A Massachusetts native, Chiklis certainly isn’t alone in his displeasure, especially in the wake of the U.S. Court of Appeals reinstating Brady’s four-game suspension last week.
