Bellator MMA featherweight division fighter Jordan Parsons is in critical condition after he was involved in a horrific hit-and-run accident in Delray Beach, Fla., on Sunday morning, according to the Delray Beach Police Department.

MMAFighting.com’s Ariel Helwani reported that the crash was so severe that the 25-year-old was forced to have his entire right leg amputated.

What’s worse is that Parsons’ organs are on the verge of failing.

According to police, Parsons was crossing an intersection by foot early Sunday morning when a vehicle believed to be a silver Range Rover Sport struck the fighter and fled.

Police are still searching for the driver involved in the hit-and-run.

Parsons, who was 11-2 lifetime in MMA, had his next Bellator match scheduled for May 14 canceled following the incident.
