Quebec City has a beautiful new arena named Centre Vidéotron, and it will play host to a preseason NHL game between the Montreal Canadiens and Boston Bruins on Tuesday, Oct. 4.

The Canadiens announced the news Tuesday in a press release, which also stated this will be the seventh preseason game the Habs have played in Quebec City since 2009.

The Bruins have played in the preseason against the Canadiens in Quebec City before, but it was at the Colisee, the old home of the Quebec Nordiques franchise.

This will be the first meeting in Quebec’s new arena, which local hockey fans hope will have its own NHL tenant in the near future.
