Indians Infielder Jose Ramirez’s Helmet Defies Laws Of Physics On Double

Baseball is weird, but sometimes things happen that are just straight-up inexplicable. And Jose Ramirez is proof of that.

Things started off pretty normally when the Cleveland Indians infielder doubled in the second inning of their game against the Houston Astros on Monday, but they got strange when Ramirez started to slide into second base. Ramirez’s helmet popped off, flew backward off his heel, then somehow came back around and bonked him on the head after he reached the bag.
