When Kevin Durant is open, you pass him the ball. It’s not a difficult concept, but it’s a lesson Dion Waiters was reminded of Wednesday night in Game 2 of the Western Conference finals against the Golden State Warriors.

The Oklahoma City Thunder star was wide open under the rim on a fast break, but Waiters missed him and didn’t make a pass. Durant cut outside and was fed the ball from Waiters, scoring on a 15-foot jumper, but it was more time and energy wasted on a more difficult shot.

The former MVP wasn’t pleased with his teammate, and he let him know it on their way back down the court.

For those of you who can’t read lips, Durant yells to Waiters: “Hey man, f — you. Hey! F — you,” before bumping into his teammate. “Pass me the motherf —ing ball.”

Durant had good reason to be upset, too, given he was on fire, lighting up the box score for 23 points in the first half. That wasn’t enough to beat the Warriors, who won Game 2 118-91.
