Sports fans always are looking for a Cinderella story, and they might have just found the biggest one of all time in Leicester City.

The Foxes, who had 5,000/1 odds to win the Barclays Premier League before the 2015-16 season, clinched their first top-flight title in their 132-year history Monday thanks to Chelsea’s dramatic 2-2 draw against Tottenham.

But Leicester City isn’t the first underdog to overcome seemingly insurmountable odds to win it all. The 1980 U.S. Olympic men’s hockey team and the 1969 Amazin’ New York Mets know about a good underdog story, too.

It’s part of what makes sports so great, and fans all across the world were reminded of that Monday.
