The Boston Red Sox will commemorate the 30th anniversary of the 1986 American League championship team later this month in a pregame ceremony at Fenway Park.
The ceremony will be held before the Red Sox’s May 25 game against the Colorado Rockies, and more than two dozen former players are expected to be on hand for the festivities.
“I was 13 that season,’’ Red Sox president Sam Kennedy said in a statement, “and that summer remains magical to me, the year that I truly fell in love with the Red Sox. Those guys were my heroes, and I’m delighted to be able to welcome them back.”
Here is a full list of the expected attendees:

The team also will pay tribute to former outfielder Dave Henderson, who died of cancer in December at age 57.
