Are you ready for more talk about NBA officials and gambling?

Tim Donaghy, the disgraced former NBA referee who was entangled in a gambling controversy a few years back, said Wednesday he believes “100 percent” of current NBA officials are gambling on sports.

Donaghy, who made the comments on FS1’s “The Herd With Colin Cowherd,” told Cowherd he doesn’t believes refs are gambling on NBA games, but he’s convinced they’re placing plenty of bets away from the office.

While Donaghy stops short of accusing referees of gambling on their own league, the NBA likely won’t like hearing their officials again being mentioned in the same breath as “Tim Donaghy” and “gambling.”

Donaghy was an NBA ref for more than a decade, eventually resigning in 2007 amid allegations he bet on games he officiated. Donaghy eventually pled guilty to two charges related to the investigation and was sentenced to 15 months in prison.
