Brad Ausmus’ days as Detroit Tigers manager might be numbered, but he’s not going down without swearing at an umpire and covering up home plate, first.
The Tigers are scuffling at 16-21, and Ausmus had to address his job security before Monday’s game at Comerica Park against the Minnesota Twins.
A few hours later, Ausmus was ejected from the Twins-Tigers game after arguing a borderline strike called on Tigers third baseman Nick Castellanos. And arguing might be putting it mildly.
