While most of Toronto watched their Raptors take out the Miami Heat in the NBA playoffs, the Blue Jays played a game in Texas. And it got pretty ugly in the top of the eighth inning.
Blue Jays right fielder Jose Bautista tried to take out Texas Rangers second baseman Rougned Odor with a highly questionable slide, which Odor understandably wasn’t happy about. Odor then hit Bautista right in the face with a brutal punch you need to see to believe.
The benches cleared, and Bautista, Odor and Josh Donaldson were among the players and coaches who were ejected. The Rangers won the game 7-6.
