Cam Newton Is Ditching The Dab, Will Debut New TD Celebration In 2016

The dab is dead.

Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton told WFNZ-AM on Thursday that he’s done with his trademark celebration.

“I have to put that aside,” Newton said.

Cam won’t be dabbing anymore, but he’ll still be celebrating his touchdowns. The reigning NFL MVP added that he likely will debut a new touchdown move for the upcoming season.

Newton really stirred the pot with his dance moves last season, so it’ll be interesting to see if he drums up more controversy next season with his new celly.

But like it or not, the dab is being immortalized at the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum with a limited-edition Newton dabbing bobblehead.
