Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Isn’t Ruling Out Running For President Someday

Don’t be surprised if The Rock heads down to Know Your Role Boulevard, bangs a left onto Jabroni Drive, checks in and out of the Smackdown Hotel, and then immediately proceeds to the Oval Office.

Dwayne Johnson didn’t rule out someday running for president while discussing a potential career in politics recently with British GQ. In fact, it sounds like the WWE superstar/box office hit would welcome the opportunity to call the White House his home. After all, The Rock is The People’s Champion.

“I’ll be honest, I haven’t ruled politics out. I’m not being coy when I say that, but at the moment I am not sure,” The Rock said in an article featured in the magazine’s July issue. “I can’t deny that the thought of being governor, the thought of being president, is alluring. And beyond that, it would be an opportunity to make a real impact on people’s lives on a global scale. But there are a lot of other things I want to do first.”

In other words, The Rock isn’t going to lock horns with the likes of Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders. But maybe he’ll test the waters in 2020, when he could be going up against the likes of Kanye West and God knows who else.
