A potential terrorist attack at the Euro 2016 tournament has been thwarted.

A Frenchman was detained by Ukrainian officials as he tried to leave the country and execute a “series of 15 terrorist attacks,” Ukranian officials said Monday, via BenchWarmers.ie. Officials said the man was planning attacks on infrastructure such as bridges and railways at Euro 2016, which is being held in France, because of the country’s immigration policies.

The man has been followed by Ukraine since December, and he has since bought multiple weapons, including five machine guns and explosive materials and 100 detonators, Ukrainian Security Service said, according to BenchWarmers.ie.

This news comes eight months after terrorists killed 130 people in a Nov. 13 attack on Paris.

France is set to open Euro 2016 on Friday with a game against Romania.
