MLB Odds: Red Sox Trail Only Cubs As Favorites To Win World Series

The Red Sox went into the 2015 season with good odds to win the World Series, but Boston fans know how that turned out. The 2016 season was much of the same, except this time, the Red Sox actually are living up to expectations so far.

About a month and a half away from the midway point of the Major League Baseball season, Boston (8-1) trails only the Chicago Cubs (15-4) in Bovada’s World Series odds. The San Francisco Giants share 8-1 odds with the Red Sox.

Boston also has a few players in the running for the American League MVP Award, as well as a pitcher not named Steven Wright who just made the list of AL Cy Young odds.

Here’s the full list of MLB odds from Bovada, starting with the World Series.
