‘Out Of The Park’ Event Gives Red Sox Fans Unique Way To Watch Game Vs. Twins

The Boston Red Sox are far away from Fenway Park this weekend, but there still was a way for fans to catch their favorite team in action while also enjoying some nice weather.

The Red Sox hosted their annual “Out of the Park” event Sunday at Boston Common, where fans of all ages could come watch NESN’s broadcast of the Sox’s series finale against the Minnesota Twins. The Common was more than just a fun place to watch the game, as the Red Sox teamed up with the Highland Street Foundation to recreate the sights and sounds of Yawkey Way with free food and free entertainment.

Watch NESN’s Sarah Davis check out the festivities and talk with Highland Street executive director Blake Jordan in the “Red Sox First Pitch” video above.
