Rob Gronkowski is taking his talents to television.

Beginning next month, the New England Patriots tight end will host a weekly show on Nickelodeon called “Crashletes,” the network announced Thursday.

The show is set to premiere July 5, at 7 p.m. ET, and will feature Gronkowski providing — as you can probably gather from the title — “in-depth analysis of viral sports bloopers, blunders and absurdities,” according to a report from The Associated Press.

“I’m such a big kid at heart and I’m eager to show my energy and passion off the field in Nickelodeon’s newest series, ‘Crashletes,’ ” Gronkowski said in a statement, via The AP. “There will be a lot of laughs as we celebrate the most epic, sickest sports fails on the planet. Be prepared to get Gronk’d!”

The list of guests scheduled to appear on the show includes former Patriots running back Stevan Ridley and members of Gronkowski’s family.

Thursday was the official start of the dead period of the Patriots’ offseason schedule. After wrapping up the final day of organized team activities, the team now is off until July 27, when players are scheduled to report to training camp.
