Shaquille O’Neal really took some people for a ride.
Shaq recently went undercover as a Lyft driver for a video published Wednesday on the transportation company’s YouTube page. The soon-to-be Hall of Famer tricked several unsuspecting passengers by breaking out various costumes and aliases before ultimately revealing his true identity.
The whole thing was hilarious. O’Neal joked with the riders in Atlanta about his free-throw shooting prowess and his 1996 movie “Kazaam.” He also beat boxed, pretended he sold bracelets and sarcastically asked a huge Dikembe Mutombo fan about whether the former NBA center had ever been dunked on.
In essence, it was vintage Shaq, whose larger-than-life personality continues to shine even in his retirement.
