Maybe the 2016 Summer Olympics will go off without a hitch. But if there’s any sort of issue whatsoever, there’s going to be a long line of folks waiting to say, “I told you so.”
There’s been no shortage of controversy heading into the Summer Games, which will take place in August in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Questions about everything from public safety to the Zika virus have athletes dropping out and politicians warning athletes and fans to stay away.
The upcoming Games led late-night host Stephen Colbert to turn back the clock with a “Daily Show”-like monologue about the Olympics. As usual, it’s really good stuff.
