The Boston Red Sox scored at least seven runs in each of their two final games against the Baltimore Orioles this week, but their pitching staff and bullpen struggled in back-to-back loses.
Red Sox chairman Tom Werner talked about the team’s recent pitching woes with NESN’s Tom Caron on “Red Sox First Pitch” on Friday.
“We’ve obviously noted that the pitching in the last couple of days hasn’t been great, but we’ll sort that out,” Werner said. “And obviously if we can improve in the trade deadline, we’ll try to do that.”
