FOXBORO, Mass. — The United States men’s national soccer team has learned its quarterfinal opponent for Copa America 2016.
Team USA will take on Ecuador on Thursday, June 16 at 8:30 p.m. ET in the quarterfinal. The game will be played at CenturyLink Field in Seattle.
Ecuador defeated Haiti 4-0 on Sunday to clinch the runner-up spot in Group B.
The United States went 2-0-1 to finish atop Group A. The Americans did not reach the quarterfinal stage at the 2015 Copa America competition.
