If Panama or Bolivia plan to remain in Copa America 2016 beyond the group stage, they probably must win their first game.

Panama and Bolivia will begin their respective Copa America adventures against one another when they meet Monday at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Fla., in a Group D game. The contest gives both Panama and Bolivia the opportunity to bank points before they play against group heavyweights Argentina and Chile.

Panama is one of our teams to watch coming into the tournament. “Los Canaleros” fared well in last year’s CONCACAF Gold Cup, and Copa America 2016 could be another success for the Central American team.

Bolivia flopped badly in its loss to the United States in its final Copa America warm-up game. If Bolivia can’t recover its best form, it could suffer elimination from the tournament before it has a chance to settle in.
