You knew there would be chaos at Oakmont, but not necessarily what’s happened during the first two days of the 2016 U.S. Open.
All three of the top golfers in the world — Jordan Spieth, Jason Day and Rory McIlroy — are over par and flirting with missing the cut, while Dustin Johnson and Andrew Landry find themselves at the top of the leaderboard heading into Saturday. But due to Thursday’s heavy rain, Johnson played 36 holes Friday and Landry still hasn’t started his second round.
The second round will continue Saturday at 7:30 a.m. ET on FOX Sports 1 and FOX Sports Go, while the third round will get underway at 11 a.m. on FOX and FOX Sports Go.
