Yasiel Puig Lifts Dodgers Over Nats With Walk-Off Little League Home Run

The Dodgers pulled off what might end up being the craziest walk-off win of the season.

Los Angeles trailed the Washington Nationals 3-2 entering the bottom of the ninth inning Wednesday, and the team had pinch-hitter Howie Kendrick on first and right fielder Yasiel Puig at the plate with one out. And it only took two pitches before all hell broke loose.

Puig hit a hard single to center field, which was enough to score Kendrick and tie the game to begin with. However, Nationals center fielder Michael Taylor (who had a brutal night) misplayed the ball, and Puig wound up with a walk-off Little League home run.

It’s going to be hard to find a better win than that.
