British Open Round 1 Live Stream, TV Schedule, Tee Times

Golf’s third major of the year finally is here.

Zach Johnson will try to defend his title when the 145th British Open tees off at Royal Troon on Thursday. But there will be plenty of other golfers hoping to step in his way, including the first two major champions of 2015, Danny Willett (Masters) and Dustin Johnson (U.S. Open).

The sportsbooks like Johnson and world No. 1 golfer Jason Day this week, but you shouldn’t be too shocked if a few surprises happen along the way.

Colin Montgomerie, Marc Leishman and Luke Donald will tee off first at 1:35 a.m. ET in Troon, Scotland. You can watch all of Thursday’s first-round action on Golf Channel or on NBC Sports Live Extra starting at 1:30 a.m.
