The Boston Red Sox are looking to make quick work of their series against the Yankees after winning the opener 5-3 on Friday, and it’ll be a battle between southpaws in Game 2.

Saturday’s matchup will feature Eduardo Rodriguez on the mound for the Red Sox against Yankees left-hander CC Sabathia. Rodriguez has the chance to prove himself as a major-league starter after struggling mightily in his six first-half starts. The lefty showed some promise after being demoted to Triple-A Pawtucket, though, pitching a seven-inning shutout in his first appearance and allowing two runs over three innings with three strikeouts in his rain-shortened second outing.

With Sabathia on the mound, third baseman Travis Shaw and left fielder Brock Holt both will get some rest. The two are batting just above the Mendoza Line against lefties this season, so Aaron Hill will play third and bat seventh, while Bryce Brentz will play in left and bat eighth. Sandy Leon also will be in Saturday’s lineup to catch for Rodriguez and will bat ninth.

Here are the Red Sox’s and Yankees’ lineups for Saturday.
