Eder’s Incredible Extra-Time Goal Wins Euro 2016 Championship For Portugal

It was that close.

Éderzito António Macedo Lopes, known as Eder, wrote his name into the history books Sunday with an extra-time goal in the 109th minute of Portugal’s 1-0 victory over France in the Euro 2016 final.

Portugal held France off the scoreboard for the remaining 11 minutes of extra time to win its first-ever European championship ever.
