Jared Sullinger is joining an Atlantic Division rival.

Sullinger agreed to a one-year contract with the Toronto Raptors on Monday, league sources told Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports’ The Vertical. The Boston Celtics pulled back a qualifying offer on Sullinger last week, making the 24-year-old big man an unrestricted free agent.

Sullinger wasted no time in announcing his decision to join Toronto, even changing his Twitter avatar to the Raptors’ logo. He also thanked Celtics fans for sticking with him throughout the four years since he was drafted 21st overall in 2012.

Sullinger’s one-year deal with Toronto is believed to be in the $6 million range, league sources told ESPN’s Marc Stein. The Celtics reportedly rescinded their $4.4 million qualifying offer to Sullinger to clear the necessary cap space to sign Al Horford to a four-year, $113 million contract.

Sullinger is coming off a 2015-16 season in which he averaged 10.3 points and 8.3 rebounds per game over a career-high 81 regular-season contests. He has averaged 11.1 points and 7.7 rebounds per game for his NBA career.
