Jon Jones tweeted Monday that he’s not a cheater, but the Nevada State Athletic Commission’s case against him appears to tell a different story.
Jones was removed from the UFC 200 light heavyweight championship main event against Daniel Cormier earlier this month after he tested positive for banned substances. And now we know what those substances are.
It was revealed Monday that Jones provided a sample that tested positive for clomiphene and letrozole, both of which are estrogen blockers, on June 16, and the Nevada State Athletic Commission has since extended Jones’ temporary suspension.
Jones later took to Twitter to respond to the news and fans.
As many as it takes for me to get it right, as many as I'm willing to fight for https://t.co/5yr20q1EFx
