David Ortiz has received plenty of retirement gifts during his farewell season, but Mike Trout made sure the Los Angeles Angels’ ceremony stands out.
Trout was one of three Angels representatives who presented Ortiz with a portrait prior to Big Papi’s final series at Angel Stadium of Anaheim.
But that wasn’t the only way Trout honored the Red Sox designated hitter. Trout also did this:
