The Chicago Cubs and Boston Red Sox will have quite the contingents at next Tuesday’s Major League Baseball All-Star Game.
All four of the National League’s starting infielders play for the Cubs, who are sending a total of seven players to San Diego’s Petco Park for the Midsummer Classic. The Red Sox also will be well-represented with six All-Stars, and that number could increase to seven if Dustin Pedroia wins the American League’s Final Vote.
