Less than a month is left until Major League Baseball’s Aug. 1 non-waiver trade deadline, and the New York Yankees are among the teams to keep a close eye on.

The Yankees are in fourth place in the American League East division and the playoffs appear to be an unrealistic target.

Two players whom New York could sell at the deadline reside in its bullpen in Aroldis Chapman and Andrew Miller, who are two of the best relief pitchers in the league.

The San Francisco Giants need help in their bullpen, but it seems the Yankees don’t see how they line up as potential trade partners, per the San Francisco Chronicle’s Henry Schulman.

Despite leading the National League West division by 6 1/2 games, the Giants rank eighth among the 15 NL teams in bullpen ERA (3.94). They also rank seventh in bullpen batting average against (.249).

San Francisco needs bullpen help, but it might have to come from a team other than New York.
