Linsanity is returning to New York, although this time in a different borough.

Jeremy Lin agreed to a three-year, $36 million contract with the Brooklyn Nets on Friday, sources told The Vertical’s Adrian Wojnarowski, although the third year is a player option.

The guard later confirmed the move on Twitter.

The 27-year-old, who was a point guard for his first five seasons with the Golden State Warriors, New York Knicks, Houston Rockets and Los Angeles Lakers, played primarily at shooting guard with the Charlotte Hornets in 2015-16. He averaged 11.7 points and three assists per game.

Considering the Boston Celtics can swap first-round picks with the Nets in 2017 and also own their 2018 first rounder, this isn’t the greatest news for the C’s if Lin performs well in Brooklyn.
