NBA Trade Rumors: Hawks Shopping Paul Millsap As Al Horford Decision Looms

The Atlanta Hawks seem willing to keep free agent forward Al Horford despite agreeing to contracts with swingman Kent Bazemore and center Dwight Howard totaling more than $100 million.

The Hawks upped their offer to Horford to include a fifth year, a league source told Zach Klein of WSB-TV in Atlanta, but it’s not a max deal. For the Hawks to provide a max contract offer, they might have to trade someone, and that player could be All-Star forward Paul Millsap.

Horford reportedly told the Hawks he will decide which team he’s signing with by Saturday night. The
front-runners for his services are the Boston Celtics and Washington Wizards.
