Despite all the back-and-forth between the Denver Broncos and Von Miller this offseason, a deal between the two sides reportedly is likely before Friday’s deadline.

The Broncos reportedly already had offered the All-Pro linebacker a six-year, $114 million contract, but the two sides had yet to agree on how much of that would be guaranteed. But that apparently changed Thursday, as the Broncos offered the Super Bowl 50 MVP north of $70 million guaranteed, according to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport, who added that “a deal is likely” before the deadline on “NFL Total Access.”

If Miller accepts, he would be the highest paid non-quarterback in league history, trailing only Andrew Luck’s $87 million in guarantees. The two sides have until 4 p.m. ET on Friday to agree to a long-term contract.
