It looks like P.K. Subban and Nashville will get along just fine.

It probably should come as no surprise, but the outgoing All-Star defenseman is thoroughly embracing his new team after being traded from the Montreal Canadiens to the Predators on June 29.

Subban got an up-close look at his new city over the weekend, and he was more than willing to embrace his new home. The Predators tweeted a video of the Norris Trophy winner being introduced to a crowd at Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge, a world-famous honky-tonk on Broadway in downtown Nashville, right across the street from Bridgestone Arena.

The D-man, who never has shied from the spotlight, took the stage and eventually did some performing of his own. Fittingly dressed in black, Subban grabbed the mic and performed a little Johnny Cash, crediting former Canadiens teammate Carey Price for getting turning him on to the country legend.

So, yeah. It looks like the Subban-in-Nashville era will go off without a hitch.
