FOXBORO, Mass. — Add one more player to the New England Patriots’ pre-training camp injury list.

Defensive tackle Alan Branch will begin training camp on the non-football injury list, according to Wednesday’s NFL transaction wire.

Branch didn’t participate in voluntary organized team activities this spring, but he was on the field for minicamp. He won’t practice Thursday unless he’s removed from the list prior to the 9:15 a.m. ET session.

Branch also began 2015 training camp on the non-football injury list after failing his conditioning test.

Branch played in all 16 regular-season games last season, starting 15 and recording 35 tackles, one sack and three pass deflections.

Running back Dion Lewis, wide receivers Julian Edelman and Danny Amendola, tight end Clay Harbor, offensive tackle Sebastian Vollmer, and guards Shaq Mason and Tre’ Jackson will open training camp on the physically unable to perform list.
