Rams Accidentally, Mercilessly Troll Former St. Louis Fans With E-Mail Offer

The Los Angeles Rams reopened fresh wounds with the simple click of a mouse.

The newly relocated Rams angered fans in their former home region of St. Louis by offering discounted merchandise to former season ticket holders, The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported Tuesday.

However, Los Angeles wasn’t selling outdated St. Louis Rams gear in the e-mail. The club pushed new L.A. Rams merchandise on the same people it left heartbroken by moving west just a few months ago.

“When I got this email, I thought at first someone was playing a sick joke on me,” Joseph Nassif told the Post-Dispatch. “When I realized it was from the Rams, I was shocked.”

“Please tell (Rams vice president and chief operating officer) Kevin Demoff where he can place his hat,” another fan said.

The Rams claim they accidentally sent the email offer to names on an old database, according to Thomas.

So that means they weren’t trolling their old fans … at least not on purpose.
