Eduardo Rodriguez has struggled with the Boston Red Sox this season, resulting in him spending more time at Triple-A Pawtucket than most people expected.

But he’s back on the mound Saturday as the Red Sox resume their series with the rival New York Yankees in the Bronx.

It’s a very important start for E-Rod, who probably needs a very good outing to remain in the rotation.

Red Sox manager John Farrell discussed his young starter on NESN’s “Red Sox First Pitch.” Be sure to catch “First Pitch,’ presented by Men’s Warehouse, before every Red Sox game on NESN.
