The Boston Red Sox will try to leave Orange County on a high note.

The Red Sox have lost two of their first three games against the Los Angeles Angels in Anaheim, but they’ll aim to earn a series split Sunday afternoon in the teams’ series finale. Boston will welcome back its top slugger, as David Ortiz returns to the lineup as the designated hitter after getting Saturday off.

Hanley Ramirez will return to his post at first base and bat behind Ortiz at No. 5, while Travis Shaw will get the day off. Aaron Hill once again will get the start at third base and bat seventh, and Bryce Brentz will man left field for the second consecutive game and bat ninth.

Ryan Hanigan will do the catching for knuckleballer Steven Wright, who is looking to bounce back after allowing a career-high eight earned runs in his last outing.
