Russell Westbrook Finally Comments On Kevin Durant Leaving Thunder (Kind Of)

There’s nothing quite like the drama of the NBA offseason.

The hubbub this summer has centered on Kevin Durant’s shocking decision to sign with the Golden State Warriors, leaving Russell Westbrook and the Oklahoma City Thunder hanging out to dry.

Durant has made a few public statements since his July 4 signing, but Westbrook’s reaction has yet to be revealed, outside rumors that he’s not too happy with KD. That (sort of) changed Thursday, when a Facebook user tracked the Thunder point guard down and asked him for his take on Durant.

It’s hard to read too much into a 10-second video, but Westbrook’s laugh is a pretty good sign that he and KD aren’t exactly best buds at the moment.

Of course, Westbrook’s own future in OKC remains hazy, but for now, make sure you circle that first Thunder-Warriors matchup on your calendar.
