Skip Bayless Is Fired Up About Bill Belichick’s Patriots QB Announcement

Bill Belichick announced Wednesday that Tom Brady will be the New England Patriots’ starting quarterback once his four-game Deflategate suspension ends Week 5.

The announcement was merely a formality and perhaps an attempt by the Patriots head coach to nip any potential quarterback controversy in the bud, but polarizing sports commentator Skip Bayless seemed a little fired up judging by a couple of tweets.

One can debate all day whether Brady “made” Belichick or Belichick “made” Brady. The bottom line is the two have combined for four Super Bowl titles in New England, and there’s a good chance they’ll contend for another one this season after Brady returns in Week 5.

As for being insulted, it’s hard to imagine Brady being focused on anything other than preparing for his return and helping quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, who is expected to be New England’s Week 1 starter.

Bayless probably is just upset he now has one less topic to shout about on TV.
