Chris Froome did whatever it took to earn Tour de France victory Sunday, and it paid off.

The British cyclist didn’t win the final stage, but he rode well enough to earn an overall win at the 2016 Tour de France for his third career title in the race.

Froome finished with a cumulative time of 89 hours, 6 minutes and 1 second over the course’s 21 stages, during which he went to great lengths to keep his title hopes alive.
