WWE Battleground 2016 Live: Results, Analysis, Best Moments From Pay-Per-View

11:15 p.m.: Dean Ambrose still is your WWE champion.

Ambrose hit Roman Reigns with “Dirty Deeds” to retain his title.

Here are some of the best moments from the main event:

10:40 p.m.: Randy Orton returned in a special “Highlight Reel,” and he made sure to deliver a message to Brock Lesnar, his SummerSlam opponent, and host Chris Jericho with a surprise RKO.

10:25 p.m.: John Cena nailed a monster “Attitude Adjustment” on A.J. Styles from the top rope, which was more than enough to win the match.

10 p.m.: Darren Young won, but The Miz retained his Intercontinental title via countout.

9:35 p.m.: Natalya used the “Sharpshooter” to take down Becky Lynch.

9:20 p.m.: Sami Zayn beat nemesis Kevin Owens in a highly entertaining match.

9 p.m.: Rusev retained his title, but he had an unwelcome visitor after the match.

8:40 p.m.: Score one for The Wyatt Family, as they took down The New Day at WWE Battleground.

8:20 p.m.: Sasha’s mystery partner was Bayley, and the duo beat Charlotte and Dana Brooke in the main card opening match.

8 p.m.: Breezango won the opening match over The Usos during the WWE Battleground Preshow.

Now, it’s for the main card to begin.

7:10 p.m.: Dean Ambrose already defended his WWE championship twice this week, but his most important fight of all comes Sunday night at WWE Battleground.

The WWE champ and new face of Smackdown Live puts his title on the line against his former Shield partners and new Raw headliners Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns in the main event from Verizon Center in Washington D.C.
